HAK5
In order to enhance the technical skills of the students of CSE, a Technical Association is formed in the name HAK5. The Association conducts National level Seminar, Guest Lectures, Technical Symposiums and Industrial Visits.
HAK5 has undergone their first Industrial Visit to CCS Technologies, Kottayam and has conducted two National level Technical Symposium.
INSIGHTEON
The Department of IT has formed an Association in the name of INSIGHTEON. The main objective of this association is to improve the students’ standard with practical knowledge. For this it organizes Guest Lectures, Seminars, Technical Symposium and Industrial Visit.
Insighteon has visited IT Techno park, Ernakulam and has organized two National level Technical Symposium.
VUEGA
VUEGA means Variance in Ultra Electronics and Generic Association. The main objective of the Association is Information transmission in an efficient manner with least distortion. It aims to nurture well disciplined, socially committed and technically competent engineers with innovative thinking and managerial skills.
VUEGA has gone Industrial Visits to Hindustan Photo Film Technology in Ooty and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research to study Radio Astronomy in Ooty.
SPARTANZ
The Association caters the needs of students in all innovative means of tech growth the objective of this association is to provide a forum for the student to team new tech end developments.
Spartanz have gone Industrial visit to McNoLD Transformers-Madurai, Indian Institute of Astro Physics-Kodaikanal. It has organized a National level Technical Symposium and various others Guest Lectures and Seminars by Eminent Professors.
HIZAK
The Association of Mechanical Engineering is started with purpose to help students in pursuit of Technical knowledge. It proposes to organize various Seminars, Lecture and Industrial Visits.
As a part of Industrial interaction, they have visited Ashok Leyland, Hosur and industries in Bengaluru.
Science and Humanities
The purpose of this club is to provoke thought with rightful thinking the club comprises of Literary Association, Science Club and Fine Arts. Our college provides excellent opportunities to students to bring out their knowledge and skills. Students are motivated to come out with projects of their own the projects will enhance their communication skills and scientific thinking. Engineering Funda’09 is the first Technical Symposium.
NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
“Service to humanity is service to God”. The NSS Unit believes the above saying. The unit creates an awareness of blood donation by conducting camps to the students. It renders services to the society by testing water samples.
Creating a ‘no drug and no tobacco society’ is the soul aim of the NSS unit. By conducting Processions, Camps, Awareness programmes, the NSS unit sows the seed of humanity among students
Youth Red Cross
“Service by students brings laurels to Nation”. The motto of this club is to serve. It is an epitome of love and service. It aims at extending benevolence and usual values among the community. The club strives to exterminate the barricade amid the needy and wealthy.
Red Ribbon Club
To create an ‘AIDS free society’, the Red Ribbon Club, takes up a mission in hand with warmth and care. AIDS is not a diseases but a menace for mankind. Human is not born to die but to live and relish. The RRC volunteers employ themselves to create an AIDS free society by issuing pamphlets, demonstrations and through campaign.
Rotaract Club
It is a club started in association with Rotary international. It gives exposure to the students to interact with renowned business persons in the country. Through the Rotaract Club of AVS Engineering College students can establish their contacts and built good social relationships. The motto of the club is to serve humanity and to eradicate polio. Our club was chosen for having the Best Public Image for the year 2009.
National Sports Organization
“Sound body sound mind” the government of India aims to make youth India strong physic and efficient mind. As to that our college provides all the facilities to the students to take part in sports activities to make them fit. Students of our college take part in inter collegiate meet and university level sports.
Inspiring Lecture
It is always one of our practices to present guest and motivating lectures to students. This time it is an inspiring one too. AVS Engineering College felicitated Dr.Mayilsamy Annadurai the project Director of Chandrayan I & II. He presented an inspiring lecture and interacted with our students.
